Lebanon - Billy J. Anderson, 82, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021, surrounded by his family at his home in Lebanon, KS.
Billy was born on May 6, 1939, the son of Perle Franklin and Mildred Lavita (Biggs) Anderson on the family farm that is a few miles west of his ranch. Billy was the youngest of his siblings, Peggy and Bob.
Billy was married at the age of 21, and was a loving father to Troy, Todd, Travis and Tamatha. Billy carried on the family farm and ranch with great dedication and dignity. He also had a pure passion for music and played in many bands throughout his life. He enjoyed his friends to the fullest, Mike Lake……..he'll be waiting above with that wash board!! He loved to fish and was looking to fishing his pond with his brother Bob.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Perle and Mildred, a son, Todd T. Anderson, a sister, Peggy Jones, and a grandson, Skyler Cliffton Morgan.
Billy is survived by his significant other, Sandee Albert of Lebanon; two sons, Troy Anderson and Travis (Cheryl) Anderson all of Agra; a daughter, Tamatha (Jerud) Schurr of Phillipsburg; a brother, Bob Anderson of Downs; grandchildren, Tiffany Ann Garcia and her three children, Bryson Stapelton, Zayden and Ethen Hemphill of Wichita, KS, TJ Anderson and his two children, Cylas Troy and Reighny Elaine of Great Bend, KS, Joshua Anderson of Great Bend, KS, Taite and Linsey Anderson and their two children, Mathias and Makelle of Sabetha, KS, Brandon Morgan and his two children, Ariel Jo Morgan and Isebella May Morgan of Medicine Lodge, KS, Brock Morgan and Jade Bui of Shawnee, KS, Brookeland Morgan of Phillipsburg, KS, and Braydon Shellito of Phillipsburg, KS.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, May 22, 2021, at All Faiths Funeral Chapel, 113 S. Madison St., Smith Center, KS. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 21, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. with family present to greet friends from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. until service time Saturday, May 22nd at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in North Oak Creek Cemetery, Smith County, KS. Memorials may be given to the Billy J. Anderson Memorial Fund and sent in care of the funeral chapel.
