May your journey in the next life be as fruitful and blessed as it was here on earth. You were a good friend and a valuable colleague with a wealth of knowledge. Your honesty and caring attitude was a rarity in the audio industry and in the world today. I will miss you.

I'm so sorry for your family, its an unspeakable loss. I never met Oliver in person, but talked on the phone over the past couple years ordering kits. I had to laugh when I read that "he never said no to anyone" I had that feeling when I'd be waiting for an order.
I'd hear his daughter come into the room and ask a question while an order was being placed. It was so sweet, I run a small business myself and I loved the spirt of this business in Gaylord, Kansas. I hope you can continue production. There's a market out there to support his memory and your family. I'll send as much love in my thoughts as possible.

Oliver. Coltrane. Eno. Miles. Garcia...In this life. In any lifetime.
There are those who are referred to by a single name. People whose work exudes a 'Radiance'. Artists. Luminaries who- like your grandmother's papery skin holding yours- as you enter Woolworth s to the odor of leaded gas with "My Favorite Things" playing constantly, Mark Time itself- indeed, forge 'grace' and make life worth living. - Oliver gave time a 'reason' - to stand still.. and just wait-
for that Sound - that only he could make.
Love you man. Best Regards

How sad it was to hear of Oliver's passing. Although we never met face to face, we always had long and very nerdy conversations that were so satisfying. I will miss him and his expertise very much. My sincere condolences to his family and close friends. In time my hope is that you will find solace in the fact that so many people around the world saw him as a friend and expert in his field. For this is what he was to us all.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Heavenly Blessings, Oliver...we chatted frequently on the pro audio forum sites and I am grateful to have had your kind, generous and most knowledgeable input on many an occasion...you were always a gentleman, and were most gracious in making your thoughts available to those who sought your council on all matters dealing with vintage recording gear...to say you will be missed would be a gross understatement...such a rare and unique individual...
...I extend my most sincere condolences to the family for their loss...

Great knowing you and your talents Oliver. you left a void in all our hearts and ears...

Wow! Now I know how his disciples must have felt when Buddha died. Three tube microphones and two PSU mods later, and I am still in need of your services and sage advice... so, if you can figure out a way to tap into the internet from Heaven, I would be much obliged and will reimburse you via Paypal.

I spent a bunch of time on the road with Oliver in 1998-1999 touring with Candlebox and Second Coming. We had so many good laughs and worked our butts off and when there was time we went to music stores so he could do demonstrations of his audio equipment that he built. A giant of a man in many ways. His genius and demeanor were assets to everyone he touched. As others have said, his willingness to share what he knew with anyone made him a great teacher as well as a friend. I used to make fun of him when he used to start so many sentences with the word "Basically" (insert deep voice and German accent) and then go into an explanation of something that was anything but basic! I'll always remember you with great fondness old friend.

It's so hard to write a message about a man who gave of himself with no conditions attached. We only met a few times but talked for hours on the phone. Those talks and visits are locked in fond memories. Lifting up prayers for his family.

Like another friend have said, he was a giant in every various ways.

Goodbye Oliver,

Oliver was one of the most warm generous men I've ever known. I loved talking to Oliver on the phone, audio was only one of the few things we talked about. He was a deep, warm individual. This is a monumental loss. I will cherish the conversations we had for the rest of my life. Godspeed Oliver... if there is anyone who truly should rest in peace it should be you. What a great man, what a tremendous loss. I am so sad for his family and all the people he touched. Thoughts and prayers go out to the Archut family from the DeVivo family.

Oliver was one of the few people I dealt with on a business level that I also enjoyed just speaking with on a personal level. He was so passionate about many things and I will not just remember him for his equipment but as a wonderful human being who touched a lot of lives. My family is praying for your family, I am so sorry to hear of his passing.
I spoke with him Wednesday evening first about business, then some light hearted discussions about him feeling overwhelmed. It did not come across as a heavy conversation, and I asked him to please not worry so much as far as I was concerned. We joked about him wishing me a happy birthday on Facebook in German, and I responded in German (with a translator website). After a while he told me he needed to eat dinner with his daughter "and we speak soon" which was how he always ended our talks.
If I can help you in any way please do not hesitate to reach out to me.
